Project “ART – SUBSTITUTE THERAPY”
T
he project is based on the publication “ART – SUBSTITUTE THERAPY” or as an artist to be happy in an economically poor country.
As mentioned there, it “…does not consider those working in the field of kitsch, mass culture, peripheral activities such as artistic pursuits and the production of souvenirs, as well as artists financing creativity through contacts with politically influential figures or religious leaders.”

The project focuses on the freedom/madness to express yourself under any conditions and by any means.

” I suggest that you work with improvised means by remodeling the most insignificant objects. Thus, the meaningless play with the sugar packet and the plastic spoon, an unnecessary waste from the morning coffee, will suppress your creative impulse. Our surrounding urban environment offers endless options for the transformation of objects and situations such as the public transport ticket, the ashtray on the table, the straw from a soft drink, etc.”
